High Country Conservation Center to host annual Tim McClure benefit on Feb. 22

The High Country Conservation Center will be holding its annual Tim McClure Benefit on Friday, Feb. 22. The benefit is HC3’s largest fundraiser of the year and held in memory of Tim McClure, a conservation pioneer who began Summit’s first recycling program back in 1976. The benefit is held to honor his legacy and support the HC3 programs that continue his vision. The event also recognizes the conservation efforts of community members and businesses with the presentation of the Green Scene Awards. The benefit is taking place thanks to generous in-kind donations from Vail Resorts’ EpicPromise.

This year’s benefit takes place at the DoubleTree Hotel in Breckenridge from 6–10 p.m. and will feature one of the county’s largest silent auctions. Tickets are $45 in advance, $50 at door and $75 for VIP. Regular tickets include admission, a taster glass for beer, wine and spirit tasting and appetizers. VIP ticket holders get early access to the event, a pint-size taster glass, appetizers, early silent auction check out and a “Buy it Now” option, as well as an exclusive door prize drawing.
