I am really troubled by the Breckenridge Town Council (and
other elected officials) publishing their support for various ballot issues. I
thought that when we elected town council members they were supposed to
represent the people of the town. Without having taken a vote of the town
people, they have no right, as our representatives, to imply that we, the
individual voters, support (or not) the ballot initiatives. Please do not
overreach your authority or power! If
you want to vote for any initiatives, please do so as individuals. Thank you.
