Brian Stewart Banks
Sept. 11, 1960 – Dec. 2, 2018
Brian Banks, a motorcycle enthusiast, hiker, cyclist, golfer and skier, left this world far too soon. He will be remembered for his positive outlook in all situations, his kind and generous nature, his infectious smile and deep friendships. Brian was a light hearted man who had a story to tell and a joke for every situation.
He was an energetic adventurer in any environment he walked within, curious for anything that he had not seen or tried before whether it was a forest or a city. The appreciation and kindness that he held in life continues to be contagious and encouraging for those he made as friends, simple acquaintances and family. Brian was born in Salt Lake City. He lived in Dillon Valley since 2000.
Brian founded Natural Ophthalmics, Inc., a company that develops and sells homeopathic eye care products to medical professionals. With nationwide distribution to countless offices, he tirelessly promoted an integrative approach to eye care. He is well-known nationally and internationally in the field of eye care and will be missed. The company is in good standing and will continue with his current staff.
He is survived by his children, Daina and Morgan, both graduates of the Summit Schools; his mother Marcy Banks Perkins, his father, Henry Banks and his sister Kathy Banks.
A memorial service will be scheduled in late March.
