Ernie Conter
1948-2019
Ernie Conter, formerly of Silverthorne, Colorado, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019. He was born in Denver on March 14, 1948. He was married to Kathy Conter in 1971 and lived in Summit County for 44 years. Ernie was a successful excavating contractor for 27 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and nature and loved planting trees, shrubs and flowers.
Ernie’s favorite activities included snow skiing, water skiing, being and Ambassador at Copper Mountain and spending time with his family, friends and grandkids.
A celebration of life will be held May 4th, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Elderhaus in Ft. Collins, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to: Dementia Friendly Communities of Northern Colorado, Pathways Hospice, Ft. Collins or Elderhaus Adult Day Care, Ft. Collins, Colorado.
