Frisco’s Recreation Department is once again offering a number of day and sports camps for the area’s youth this summer from June through August.

On April 1 from 5-6:30 p.m., there will be an open house at the Frisco Adventure Park Day Lodge, inviting families to learn more about the town’s camps and how to create an online account to register for programs.

This year the town will be offering the Frisco Fun Club, the Frisco Skate Camp, the Frisco Bike Camp, Adventure Camp, H20 Camp, Girls on the Run and the Play-Well TEKnologies Lego Camps.

Registration for summer programs will open online at FriscoCamps.com for residents and members of the workforce in Frisco and Copper at 8 a.m. on April 3, and at noon for non-residents and employees. Residents and employees must provide proof of residency or employment (paystubs, utility bills or an ID with a physical address) in person to town staff at the Frisco Adventure Park Day Lodge before registering, open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Registration is expected to fill up quickly, so the town is advising parents to provide proof of Frisco or Copper residency or employment before registration opens.

“We urge parents to provide proof of Frisco and Copper residency or work status prior to April 1st and to please create an account or sign in and test an existing account in the online registration system prior to April 3,” said Sara Skinner, Frisco’s recreation coordinator. “We love being a part of providing our community’s children with a fun and enriching summer, and we want the sign-up process to support that effort. So please come to the open house on Monday and make sure you are well-prepared for registration day.”

Parents of children with special needs should contact Skinner at SaraS@townoffrisco.com at least 10 days prior to the first day of camp.
