POPULAR YOUNG BRECKENRIDGE COUPLE MARRIED
At 10 o’clock March 9, at the Methodist parsonage, Mr. Melvin Tillett and Miss Clara Adams were united in marriage. The wedding was a quite one, only a few friends being present at the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev O.M. Bowman.
BIDS OPENED FOR NEW AUDITORIUM
At a regular meeting of the school board Tuesday evening, bids were opened for the new auditorium which is to be completed this spring.
It is understood that the minimum price for the building without heating plant would cost between forty-five and forty-six thousand dollars. The heating plant will cost between five and six thousand dollars.
SKI CONTEST TO BE HELD SUNDAY AFTERNOON
Breckenridge Sunday on Shock Hill, a suitable course has been arranged and some good jumping will be witnessed.
A ski contest will be staged in Breckenridge Sunday providing a course suitable for it can be found in the vicinity.
OLD LANDMARK AT DILLON DESTROYED BY FIRE
A fire which started in the Sam Riley restaurant at Dillon Tuesday building which it occupied.
The fire started from an unknown cause and for a time threatened the whole of the business section of the town.
GOLD DREDGES ENTER RICCH PLACER GROUND; MINING OUTLOOK GOOD
The mining outlook for the Breckenridge district for the coming season be very good. The high price for silver, lead and spelter warrant the resumption of development of development in a number of former productive mines in the district which have not been worked for a number of years.
