The Summit Chamber of Commerce received a record number of nominations for the third annual Kaiser Permanente Business Excellence Awards and will be revealing the winners on April 4.

The annual event recognizes the imagination, innovation and achievements of Summit County companies and brought its most diverse group of nominees yet with 146 nominations across 10 categories, including a number of them for women and minority-owned businesses, according to the chamber.

A selection committee reviewed all of the nominees and narrowed the list down to five finalists in each category. The winners will be revealed during a gala from 5–8:30 p.m. on April 4 at the Silverthorne Pavilion.

The celebration will come with a Western theme and include a VIP reception hosted by All Events and Catering followed by the awards ceremony. Once the ceremony ends, an after-party will kick off with an Old West-themed photo booth, carnival-style games, dancing and more. Tickets start at $30. Buy them at SummitChamber.org.
