Blink-182 Are Being Sued By Fyre Festival

Sure, why not.

After the dust had settled, and after the memes had died (forever in our hearts, Mouthwash Guy), we had assumed that Fyre Festival was left to just be a cautionary tale – one for the history books. Something we could all laugh about in time. But alas, here we are with more news from the catastrophe of a festival. Buckle up.

The trustee in Fyre Festival’s bankruptcy case is reportedly suing blink-182 (well, their agent CAA) for the return of the deposit they were paid upfront for their headline appearance at the festival.

So Fyre Festival are seeking $500,000 from blink, who were set to headline the bin fire / festival – which was paid in advance of their appearance. The suit alleges that the deposit was part of organizer Billy McFarland’s scheme to defraud investors, and therefore should be voided.

The absolute state of that.

Also being sued for the return of their deposits are other artists from the Fyre Festival line-up Lil YachtyMigos and more.
