One small step for pop-punk. One giant leap for pop-punk kind.
So let’s talk the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Every guest who visits the museum has the opportunity to vote for who they want to see inducted into the Hall of Fame.
And up until recently, Blink-182 were sitting pretty in the top spot. Until the Netflix film The Dirt came out.
They’ve now been de-throned by Motley Crüe.
However, with Warped Tour set to host a special 25th anniversary event at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next month, there’s obviously scope for that to swing in favour of Blink.
It’s also worth noting that Blink are inelligible to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year – as inductions are only open to bands 25 years after the release of their debut album. So eyes on the prize for February 17, 2020.
