Blink-182’s Masters Were Lost In The Massive Universal Music Warehouse Fire In 2008

This is very sad news.

It’s come to light that a massive fire in the Universal Music warehouse in 2008 has destroyed some of blink-182‘s masters.

Over 700 artists’ masters were destroyed in the massive fire on the back lot of Universal Studios in Los Angeles it has been revealed by The New York Times.

Blink were signed to Universal and Universal subsidiary labels from 1999 – 2003, which means that the masters of ‘Enema Of The State’, ‘Take Off Your Pants And Jacket’ and untitled are going to be affected. 

Also affected by the fire are the masters of Limp BizkitWeezer and Jimmy Eat World.

Genuinely, sad times.
