Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump Has Written The Soundtrack For This New Horror Movie

Based on a 1970s kids TV classic, this horror reboot is due out next month.

Fall Out Boy‘s Patrick Stump has unveiled his latest project, taking on soundtrack duties for the upcoming ‘The Banana Splits Movie’.

Based on the iconic 1960s kids TV show, this R-rated horror reboot takes a dark turn as the fluffy characters begin, um, killing all their audience members after hearing that their show is getting cancelled.

Patrick will be providing the music, having previously worked on the likes of 2017’s ‘Gnome Alone’ and the drama ‘Spell’.

According to movieweb, the film stars Dani Kind (‘Wyonna Earp’) as Beth, Finlay Wojtak-Hissong (‘The Kindness of Strangers’) as Harley, Romeo Carere (‘Don’t Talk to Irene’) as Austin, Steve Lund (‘Schitt’s Creek’) as Mitch and Sara Canning (‘The Vampire Diaries’). It will be released on digital platforms on August 13 and on Blu Ray and DVD on August 27.
