Grandson has made no secret of the fact that Rage Against The Machine (and ost especially Tom Morello) are among his biggest inspirations – so paying tribute with a cover only makes sense.
Speaking of his cover, Grandson shared “The intention was to juxtapose a story of Mexican migration/indentured servitude with Delta Deep South American blues as a commentary on slave labor and the perversion of the American Dream. What’s more American than that?“
