Mark Hoppus opened up in a Twitter Q&A.
Overnight Blink-182 frontman Mark Hoppus spent an hour answering fan questions on Twitter after confessing he was “too lazy to move”, and would answer questions until he did.
I am too lazy to get off the couch and am prepared to any questions you might have until I muster the energy to move. Thank you please pull forward to the first window.

Now, while a handful were lighthearted and fun (like one fan linking up with him on Pokémon Go), one fan asked what story inspired the lyric in ‘Adam’s Song’ “Remember the time that I spilled the cup, of apple juice in the hall”.
Replying to the fan on Twitter, Mark shared “I was a kid and my parents were headed for divorce. They were arguing in their room behind a closed door and I was in the hallway listening frightened to their muffled voices.”
He continued “Suddenly the noise stopped, their door opened, and I ran, spilling my apple juice”.
Heavy stuff.
