Palisades Are Heading Out On Tour Without Vocalist Lou Miceli Jr, Due To An Ongoing Medical Issue

The tour kicked off over the weekend, minus frontman Lou Miceli Jr.

Palisades kicked off their tour with Starset on Saturday, but they did so without their vocalist Lou Miceli Jr.

The band released a short statement explaining that Lou will not be on the current tour run in North America, due to an ongoing health problem related to his voice. In his absence, Palisades bassist and co-vocalist Brandon Elgar will be stepping up as frontman.

The tour is long and extensive – having kicked off on Saturday, Palisades and Starset will make their way around North America before wrapping up proceedings in Columbus, Ohio on November 01.

You can read the band’s full statement below:

“Hey all,

So tonight we begin the Starset tour. We are really excited to get back on the road and play with these bands and for all of you.

Unfortunately, after a ton of consideration and medical opinions, Lou will not be with us for this run. He is having severe medical issues that need to be addressed so that he can recover fully and prevent any further damage.

To be very clear, this has to fo with his voice, sinus issues and some inner-ear issues.

Part of being in a band is being able to persevere and we will do that. Brandon has been rehearsing and practicing and we are really confident that you will be getting a full Palisades experience. Just in a new way.

We wish Loud a speedy recovery and will see all of you out there!

Yours,

Palisades”
