Tonight Alive Have Announced Their First Live Appearance Since Their Touring Hiatus

It’s already good to have them back.

Tonight Alive have announced their return to performing, following a touring hiatus that was announced last year.

In December 2018, Tonight Alive announced the cancellation of their upcoming North American tour, which was set to happen in January of 2019. In the statement, the band cited a need to focus on their mental health and wellbeing, and that they would be taking an indefinite hiatus from all international touring.

Since the announcement, things have been incredibly quiet in the Tonight Alive camp, with no touring or announcements to speak of. Their last public engagement was at Good Things Festival in Australia last December – but overnight they announced their live return.

Tonight Alive have been announced on the line-up for Australia’s Unify Gathering Festival, marking their first live appearance in over a year. Technically this live appearance fits within the terms of their international touring hiatus, being that they’re from Australia – however, this is still a big return after over a year of silence from Tonight Alive.

Unify Gathering 2020 is set to go down in Gippsland, Australia from January 09 – 12, and elsewhere on the line-up there’s a headline set from The Ghost Inside (only their second announced appearance for 2020 so far), plus NorthlaneEat Your Heart OutBetween You & Me and more.
