This is hilarious.
At the end of last week Waterparks frontman Awsten Knight shared that they’d been approached about a clean version of their brand new single ‘Turbulent’, cutting out all the swearing.
Shortly after that, Awsten shared videos from in the studio where he was re-recording specific phrases of ‘Turbulent’.
And it turns out, he wasn’t just playing around for the banter – they genuinely recorded the clean version, and it’s genuinely being played on the radio featuring the lyrics “I’d unhug you if I could” and “so frick yourself and frick your feelings”. Which is brilliant.
